1. Usage Policy:
- The Sana Alelm Academy online platform (referred to as "Sana Alelm" or "the platform") is available for personal use.
- Your access and use of this site are subject to the following terms of use, in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your entry and access to this site constitute unconditional agreement to the terms of use, whether you are a registered user or not. This agreement is effective as of your first use of the site.
- Your use of the site includes compliance with several terms and conditions based on continuous updates and changes as needed. You are requested to regularly review these terms, as your continued use signifies your complete agreement to any modifications made to the terms of use. Please be aware that the platform management is not obligated to announce any updates to these terms.
Definitions:
- The term "user" here refers to any person using the platform, whether a student, teacher, subscriber, or a visitor without an account. A student is defined as someone who has created an account on the platform, while a subscriber is someone who owns a student account and has subscribed to a paid or free educational course or content. A teacher refers to someone using the platform under a teacher account.
2. Terms of Use:
- This agreement governs the contractual relationship between Sana Alelm Academy and all its users.
- All terms of the agreement are subject to the laws and regulations applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The venue for any dispute related to this agreement shall be in the courts of Riyadh.
The user commits to providing accurate personal information and updating it immediately upon any changes.
Membership Sharing:
- Students are prohibited from sharing their membership with others through sharing their account data or any unauthorized means.
- Such practices violate intellectual property rights and expose the student to legal action, including account suspension without refunding any financial dues.
Account Responsibility:
- The user is fully responsible for any use of the platform through their own account, whether done by them or by others.
- Any losses or damages resulting from the user's negligence in protecting their account data are considered their personal responsibility.
Storage and Capture:
- Students are prohibited from saving, possessing, capturing, or downloading any content or attachments designated for viewing only.
- This is considered a violation of intellectual property rights, and engaging in such actions exposes the student to legal action and the suspension of their subscription without refunding any financial dues.
3. Student's Relationship with the Teacher:
Teacher Evaluation:
- Students have the right to evaluate the teacher while following or upon completing educational content, considering general etiquette.
- Students are requested to register an account during the evaluation stage to share their opinions with all users and students.
Student Rights:
- After subscribing, students have access to a dedicated group of subscribers (if available), and all parties in the group must adhere to general rules and etiquette.
Adherence to General Etiquette:
- Students must adhere to general etiquette in communication with the teacher and among their peers in the group.
- In the event of inappropriate behavior by the student towards the teacher, the platform has the right to take necessary actions after studying and monitoring the situation, including account suspension and legal measures if necessary.
Teacher's Rights:
- The teacher is not obligated to provide services beyond the scope of explaining the educational content, such as solving assignments or providing additional reviews.
- The decision to provide any additional content is left to the teacher's discretion.
Communication with the Teacher:
- The teacher is committed to responding to the inquiries of participating students if the material is under continuous monitoring. Students must ask questions in the group of participating students.
4. Subscriptions:
Subscription Duration:
- The subscription period is for a full semester.
- In case of non-utilization of the subscription, such as failing the course or deleting it, the student is granted one free membership to subscribe again for free in the same course previously subscribed to.
Subscription Prices:
- Subscription prices for educational content and courses vary according to the pricing of each educational content or course.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- The subscriber cannot cancel their subscription and refund the subscription amount unless the following conditions are met:
- No more than 72 hours have passed since the subscription date.
- The subscriber has not accessed or viewed more than 20% of the educational content for the subject of the refund and subscription cancellation.
- In case the student wishes to refund due to deletion of the course:
1. No more than 72 hours have passed since the subscription date.
2. The subscriber has not accessed or viewed more than 20% of the educational content for the subject of the refund and subscription cancellation.
- The subscriber is responsible for reviewing the details of the educational content before subscribing, and failure to do so is not a legitimate reason for subscription cancellation.
- Refund and subscription cancellation are not applicable for the student merely based on an agreement between them and the teacher, and Sana Alelm Academy disclaims responsibility for transactions outside the platform.
5. Intellectual Property Rights and Confidentiality of Information:
Content and Intellectual Property:
- All content on Sana Alelm Academy, including but not limited to graphics, logos, icons, images, and data, is owned by Sana Alelm Academy and may not be used without prior permission from the owner.
Data Collection and Use:
- The platform has the right to collect data from registered users and use it for development, improvement, and raising the quality of the platform.
Confidentiality of Information:
- The platform is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of user data and not using it for purposes other than those mentioned above.
- This is unless disclosure is mandatory by an order from the competent authorities or with the written consent of the user.
6. Safety and Security:
- Personal Data Safeguarding:
- All users are committed to keeping their personal data secure.
- They must report any unauthorized activity related to their accounts.
- Evaluation and Comments:
- The site allows students to provide evaluations and comments on trainers and courses.
- Emphasis is placed on the importance of providing constructive feedback based on actual experience.
- Account Termination:
- The administration has the right to terminate or suspend the account of any user who violates the terms and conditions.
- This is done based on an evaluation and study of the user's case and violation of specified laws.
7. Changes in Terms and Conditions:
- The administration has the right to modify or update the terms and conditions.
- Users will be notified of any changes to ensure awareness of the new conditions.
